Compact, walkable, historic and clean, Boston blends old-world charm and modern convenience better than many American cities. Boston has some of the best preserved historic buildings and neighborhoods in the country.
For culture buffs, Boston offers a wide variety of cultural attractions, many within walking distance to The Hotel. The theater district is a short walk away and home to the Wang Center for the Performing Arts, the Shubert Theater and the Colonial Theater. The city also offers concerts by The Boston Symphony Orchestra and Boston Pops, performances by the Boston Ballet including the holiday performance of The Nutcracker, and an assortment of wonderful museums including The Museum of Fine Arts, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Museum of Science and the Children's Museum. The New England Aquarium offers aquatic exhibits, divers, penguins, a giant ocean tank and a dolphin and sea lion show.
For those looking for a historic experience, there's plenty to do in Boston. Enjoy a historic walking tour of Boston on The Freedom Trail or take the Trolley or Duck Tours and see the Old North Church, the USS Constitution, Paul Revere's House and the State House.
